Job Description

Groov in a nutshell is a B2B SaaS provider of aggregated and unified Data and Insights across SMB payment and commerce ecosystem to Financial Institutions (FIs) who serve such SMBs. Use cases range from supporting FIs across Lenders, Banks, Insurers, PSPs/Payment providers, Business Accountancy and Marketplaces who serve small and medium businesses ( aka Merchants).

Overall Groov’s tech stack uses the following: Java, Spring-Boot, Angular, JPA, Liquibase, Kafka, Docker, K8s, AWS and using persistent AWS RDS Postgresql and Mongodb.

Job Requirements

You would be confident on most (if not all) of the following toolkits and have working know-how:

- Have at least 4-5 years of experience building and shipping developer-facing backend products with expertise in a public cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services

- You have strong Java development experience, Java 8 onwards - You have experience with modern enterprise frameworks e.g. Spring / SpringBoot

- You have a good knowledge of REST and RESTful API design

- You have experience with Kafka for data streaming

- You have experience within a microservices / DevOps environment (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Experience with one or more databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySql, NoSql, or similar time series databases. If you are a self-motivated individual with strong organizational/ communication/ prioritization skills, you love multitasking, and tick most of the boxes above, we are sure you will love our fast-paced working culture. We are fully remote (for now)
