Job Responsibilities

As a Smart Contract Engineer at RISC Zero, you'll be building smart contracts on top of our under-development L1 blockchain. You'll tell us what works and what doesn't about our design. You'll suggest major changes to our blockchain protocol in order to better the developer experience. The design will be constantly changing and you'll adapt, helping to make sure we have a top-notch ecosystem on day one.

Job Requirements

You’re an expert in smart contracts - and not just solidity. You know how to build complex multiparty applications and ruthlessly optimize performance. Developer experience drives you to continuously simplify. You have strong opinions and know how to effectively communicate them to a diverse team.

More specifically, you’ve probably done most of the following:

• Built countless smart contracts on multiple platforms


• Gained expertise in a variety of statically typed languages


• Experimented with Zero Knowledge Proofs
