Job Description

STFX is seeking an engineer who can work in order to expand and maintain our smart contract systems. This role will be a highly visible role within the organization to serve the core infrastructure for the upcoming STFX product. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and passion for all things DeFi.

Job Responsibilities

1. Drive high-level decisions about the protocol design and smart contract architecture.


2. Write well-documented, performant, clean, and re-usable Solidity code.


3. Test and deploy smart contracts.


4. Collaborate with designers and frontend engineers to bring our dapps to life.


5. Work in a small, fast-paced team to rapidly develop and iterate on new features with a large amount of ownership and autonomy.

Job Requirements

1. 1+ years experience in Solidity smart contract development.


2. 2+ years experience in software engineering.


3. Expert knowledge of Solidity, EVM, smart contract design patterns, and security best practices.


4. Experience writing comprehensive test suites for smart contracts.


5. Experience deploying smart contracts on Ethereum/EVM chains.


6. Advanced knowledge of Git and GitHub.


7. Strong mathematical and/or economics modelling skills.


8. Deep technical understanding of and passion for DeFi and crypto in general.


9. Native English fluency (written and verbal).


10. Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal).


11. Proactive and hard-working attitude, and receptiveness to feedback.
